Nino and his team are amazing! I bought a new car on a Thursday and was scheduled to take a long drive business trip on the following Tuesday. I wanted to protect my paint from chips from road debris so Nino got me in Friday to tint my windows and clear wrap my car. I picked it up Monday and I couldn't be happier. He was fast, professional and very courteous. I live in the city and it was worth the drive to Schaumburg to ensure a quality job on my car.

  Really good service. I love my new tint, my car is totally different, with less heat. Now I want to do my windshield. Great attention to detail! I will recommends these guys very highly! They are so good they are booked a few weeks out, so call right away.

  Excellent service and was able to get an appointment earlier than expected. I've taken my previous cars to another place but they always left something out. The guys here did a great job and gave good recommendations on what tint would look good with my factory tints. It was a 45 min commute for me but worth the drive.

  Original Review from Nov. 2016: Fabulous work!  I had a full tint done on my Rav4 several months ago and it was and still is a perfect job.  Nino guided me through the options available and I couldn't be more pleased with the results.  I heartily recommencement Umbra.

Update 12-22-19:  It has now been 3 years and the tinting is still perfect.  I haven't gone out of my way to protect it but I don't do anything particularly abusive ether - just normal daily driving and use.   I remain very satisfied with the service I received from Umbra.

  Nino and team are great! They are very professional, honest, and knowledgeable. I had my Tesla Model Y there for full front PPF and tints, which ended up looking amazing. My family and friends have used them too and can't say enough good things.

  Good people, great work and fair prices. And they have a lifetime warranty. Making an appointment was easy. Dropped the car off first thing in the morning and by the afternoon it was done.

  Nino is a professional business owner and well worth spending the extra money tinting here. Although he has a busy tint schedule, he allowed me to leave the car the next day so he can work on it at his pace. Tinted my front doors and windshield on my 4runner. LLumar tint is only given to reputable tint shops so his business speaks for itself. Thank you Nino!

  UPDATE: 3 years since my review, the tints still look really good. No fading or scratching anywhere.

  This is by far THE best place to get your windows tinted. I am very pleased with the outcome. I would've liked something a little darker for more privacy, but getting pulled over by cops was definitely something I was trying to avoid. I set up an appointment on the phone. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Ashley. She was insanely nice and patient even though I had to take a couple minutes to figure out what I wanted for my new Toyota Rav4. I opted for the Stratos Ceramic tints for all of my windows, and the heat reduction was well worth the extra cost. Umbra Window Tinting has my highest recommendation, and I encourage everyone looking to tint their windows to give them a shot. The customer service from Ashley was more than enough reason to go out of my initial budget. Thank you, Umbra!

  Recently had our SUV in for a full frontal PPF wrap.

When I came to pick it up I noticed that the front license plate was not remounted correctly.  Upon closer inspection it was very loose with the screw posts in a position where they would have torn through the paint (film too) had I driven the vehicle.

When I spoke with the gentleman who did the installation I asked if he had put things back as he had found them and inspected his work.  He said yes to both questions initially and then, upon my showing he and the owner the issue, went back on that statement; admitting to his lie only after being shown.  On top of this he bent my plate.

To the umbra team and owner - you know this, however it warrants saying - Your attention to detail was unacceptable.  You lied to a (repeat) customer.  You damaged my property and it could have been much worse. You haven't followed up with me.
